We take a holistic approach with our assessment, we will analyse your injury, your pain, and your movement patterns to help build an appropriate treatment plan. We aim to facilitate recovery not just through passive and manual techniques, but also through exercise and movement rehabilitation. We strongly believe in the importance of education and advice, ensuring you have a full understanding of your injury will optimise your future management.
What Should I Expect
1. Initial appointment - this will consist of a comprehensive assessment of you and your pain / symptoms. We will formulate a diagnosis and help you understand the reason for your injury. This is offered face to face or virtually.
2. Individualised treatment - this will include various techniques and an exercise programme, with follow up appointments to check your progress if required. It will include gradual progressions to optimise your recovery and your return to activity or exercise. This will help you take control of your pain and injury.
3. The door is left open - when we have facilitated the rehabilitation of your injury and you feel confident to self manage, then our job is done! We will be happy to let you continue independently, but we would also be extremely happy to see you again for any of your future needs.
